One of my goals is to start blogging more and I've decided to take a stab at scrapbooking.

I've done scrapbooking years and years ago, but never really felt that enjoyment after seeing a finished product, but I have to also state that I don't think I did a very good job at it, therefore I never proceeded... lol...

Quick Christmas Card ideas

I made these quick Christmas cards for my Coworkers.

I didn't want to spend that much time on them, some of the paper packs are now coming up with sheets filled with little squares

If you don't know what to do with them, now you do...

In a bind you can cut them up real quick and glue it to a card stock and use it as a quick card

I rarely ever post any of my photos of my events or any wedding related things, but yesterday we had a holiday party, and I would like to share some pictures.
I wished I took more photos, but everything came together nicely, and we all had a great time!

Thanksgiving festivities are over and now it's all about Christmas!

Every year I tell myself around this time, I should start working on my Christmas cards in August, so I have plenty of time to work on other arts and craft projects for Christmas, but as always that idea usually goes out the window...

This year, I feel as if there are so many great Christmas images, inspirations, and goodies to use... 

So I'm going to try my best to make use of it!

I rarely ever make male cards, but I'm going to try to incorporate a couple this season.

Yeti Fumi Ornament

Today is my last day as the Guest Designer for Yumi and Fumi I'm very sad to say goodbye, but I thank Yumi and Fumi for giving me the opportunity to be the guest designer for them. 

So for my last post I decided to step outside the box and make a project.

Today I would like to share with you a ornament I made using Yeti Fumi

I bought this card board ornament from Michael's Craft Store for less than $1.00.

Today is my hubby's birthday!!! 

We've shared probably half of our birthdays together, and every year it is hard coming up with a gift, what to do, and to add to the list what kind of birthday card to make. 

So today we both took the day off from work together to have a fun filled day that I planned out for the both of us.  I hope he enjoys himself.

Baby shower card - Sweet November Safari Pals

Here is another baby shower card that I made for a friend of mine.

They are welcoming their first baby into their family,

therefore decided to not know the sex of the baby.

I think that it is kind of special to wait, but it did make it a little difficult to decide on a baby shower present.

Yumi with Birdie

I've been selected to be a Guest Designer for Yumi and Fumi for the month of November!
I'm so super excited to be joining them for the month.

Here in Southern California the weather is pretty nice all year round, but with the holidays coming I know that it is going to start getting cooler, but my mind is still in Summer mode, so I Yumi W/Birdie is exactly how I'm feeling. 

Doesn't it feel so nice day dreaming in the middle of a grass field and a warm summer day.

As a kid I loved Halloween, and I would be so excited thinking about going trick or treating.

Now that I'm older, I'm quite excited to see all the kids coming to visit my house trick or treating.

Anya Frame

Since it was one of my crafting buddies birthday,  and she always makes these wonderful cards, and projects so I decided to make her a project.

I decided to make a frame which was purchased thru Ikea.

 I decided to stamp the sentiment which is from TGF Anya Styles and glue the rosette onto the glass.

I used the Stazon stamp pads, so the sentiment wouldn't smear.

A lot of people ask me, do I scrap book?

So far, I haven't developed a love for scrapbooking

I love taking pictures, but the thought of scrapbooking doesn't seem quite rewarding to me yet.

I figured that one day when I have a baby, that would be the moment I would take on scrapbooking.

I have to say that I love making cards for two reasons.

After seeing a completed product, it always brings a smile to my face.

Seeing other crafter's products also makes me happy! 

Something about all the images just seems to pop and it always feels so happy.

I also love making cards, because I love the feeling of the person receiving it, knowing that I took the time out to create something for them.

Cheeky Rockability

Three plus years ago, I received a card from a dear friend of mine for my bridal shower.
